— Silicon Valley Strong, an effort launched by local leaders Wednesday, is coordinating donation and volunteer efforts in the community. You can sign up to volunteer on the city of San Jose’s website. Or support the San Jose-based fund here: siliconvalleystrong.org.

— Silicon Valley Community Foundation has launched a Bay Area-wide COVID-19 relief fund. Visit siliconvalleycf.org/coronavirus-fund to donate to the fund or to county-specific programs.

— Destination: Home in San Jose has launched a fund to help people suffering a coronavirus-related loss of income pay their rent. Visit destinationhomesv.org to help.

— Second Harvest of Silicon Valley provides food to those in need. To help them feed vulnerable families during the COVID-19 crisis, visit shfb.org.

— Reach out to Alameda County Community Food Bank to donate food, cash or your time at accfb.org.

— The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage due to an “unprecedented” number of blood drive cancellations due to the coronavirus outbreak. Find out how to give blood at redcross.org/give-blood.html.
