If you’re looking for a fun way to reach voters in the critical battleground states, whether by phone, text, or postcard, join us for the Barnstormer Battleground Blitz Party Zooms!
We’re scheduling as many recurring Zoom times as possible to accommodate as many Barnstormers’ schedules as possible.
You can join us to bank for any candidate in any state – from Biden/Harris all the way down-ballot. Our only requirements are that you come already trained up on your chosen platform and that you are ready to have some fun getting out the (EARLY) vote!

What are Barnstormer Battleground Blitz Zooms?
Frequent and recurring Zoom calls where volunteers can engage in GOTeV activities together, like phone and text banking or postcard-writing. It is a way for us to support each other (and hold each other accountable!) while engaging in high-impact activities to save our democracy.
What happens during the Zooms?
Joy is at the core of everything we do. No matter how challenging or dire times get, we can never forget the joy. That applies to phone/text banking and postcard-writing, too!
First, we’ll start out with a roll call of participants, letting everyone know where you’re from and which candidate(s) you’re there to support.
After introductions, we’ll get into it. Put yourself on mute and start your work with others on the call. Use the chat to share any new learnings or tidbits that might help others.
After 30 minutes, we’ll take our first 5-minute break to unmute and share what we’ve accomplished and learned.
We’ll repeat that cycle until the end of the Zoom.
Before signing off, we’ll ask you to enter how many calls and texts you made during that session.
And of course we’ll have some music (maybe some dancing?) and laughs along the way!
Which candidates does it support?
Volunteers can choose any candidate(s) they like, from Biden/Harris all the way down the ballot. While volunteers can choose any candidate, we are strongly encouraging support of candidates in critical Battleground States, especially among volunteers in states that are considered “safely blue”. You may also choose issues-based organizations that are aiming to mobilize voters as well.
Can I join if I haven’t been trained?
Barnstormer Battleground Blitz Zooms do not offer training or support for any specific phone/text bank platform or postcard program. We can help point you to the correct signup forms and training sessions. Once you’ve successfully completed them, then sign up for as many Barnstormer Battleground Blitz Zooms as you like!

When do they happen?
Currently, we have parties happening every Wednesday evening from 6-8pm ET and Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm ET. We may be adding more parties, so watch this space!
